1. Delete your i45G account
Where the application provides a Delete Account option, you may use that option to request deletion directly.
You may also request deletion by emailing:
Use the subject:
Data Deletion Request
Please tell us enough to identify your account, such as the email address or mobile number associated with it.
Do not send us your password, OTP, government identity document or other authentication secret by email.
We may ask you to complete a reasonable verification step before deleting personal data so that another person cannot delete your account without authority.
2. If you signed in using Facebook or Meta
If you used Facebook or another Meta service to sign in to i45G, you may also remove i45G from the apps and websites connected to your Meta account.
Removing the Meta connection stops that connection, but it does not necessarily delete information that was already legitimately stored in your i45G account.
To request deletion of the data held by i45G, use the account deletion function where available or email info@i45g.com as described above.
Where i45G has received information through Meta authentication, we will delete or disassociate that information when the corresponding i45G account is deleted, except where we are required to retain particular records by law or have another lawful reason to retain them.
3. What happens when you request deletion
Once we have verified the request, we will delete or anonymise personal data for which i45G is responsible and which is no longer required for:
- programme administration or completion;
- legal, tax or accounting obligations;
- security, fraud prevention or dispute handling; or
- another lawful purpose for which retention is required.
Information that has been properly anonymised so that it can no longer identify you is not personal data and may be retained.
Backups may retain deleted information temporarily until they are overwritten through our normal backup lifecycle. Deleted information will not be restored to active use except where necessary for security, disaster recovery or legal compliance.
4. Programmes run through a college, school, university or employer
Sometimes i45G processes personal data on behalf of a school, college, university, employer or other organisation that arranged your programme.
In those cases, that organisation may be the Data Fiduciary responsible for deciding how your personal data is used.
You may contact that organisation directly, or you may contact us at info@i45g.com. Where i45G is acting only as its Data Processor, we will pass the request to the responsible organisation and assist it in handling your request.
Deleting your i45G login does not require us to delete a record that we are required to retain on the instructions of the responsible organisation or under applicable law.
5. Children and candidates under 18
If the request concerns someone under 18 whose participation was arranged through an institution, a parent or lawful guardian may contact the institution or i45G.
We may need to verify the authority of the person making the request before acting on it.
